Using Alcove
You can browse rooms, join circles, send messages, and keep a profile on this device. Sample homes and sample people are there to show how the app works. They are not a promise that a person, shop, or product is available to you.
Your rooms and photos
Post rooms you are happy to show. Use your own photos, or photos you have permission to share. Do not publish someone else’s private home, face, or address without their consent.
A published room is listed in Alcove on this device. There is no review desk waiting on a server.
Circles and messages
Join a circle when you want its conversation. Leave when you do not. Speak about the room, the material, and the practical detail. Keep criticism on the idea, not the person.
Do not send threats, sexual content involving anyone under 18, scams, or repeated unwanted messages. Do not pretend to be another member.
Reports and blocks
You can report a person or a circle, and you can block someone so their messages stay hidden in circle chats. Those actions are saved on this device. Blocking also removes their direct chat from your Inbox when one exists.
Coins
Coins are a balance inside this copy of Alcove. They stay on the device with the rest of your local data. They are not a bank balance and they are not transferable.
The app itself
Alcove 1.0.0 is provided as it is. Room ideas, sample conversations, and product notes are for inspiration. Check measurements, rental rules, and product details before you buy or build anything.
